Rita Carreno, ABR, was born in Tampa, Florida, where she studied marketing and public relations and worked professionally in the field for many years. Rita is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Real Estate and The Real Estate Agent’s Buyer’s council, from which she received her Accredited Buyer’s Agent (ABR) designation.

In 1983, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she began her career in commercial real estate and property management. In 1992, residential real estate buying and selling became her passion. Today, with over 20 years in the real estate business, Rita is a highly accomplished and well-respected residential specialist, specializing in representing sellers, buyers, investors and relocating families to the Atlanta area.

Chris Carreno was born in Tampa, Florida, and relocated to the Atlanta, Georgia area in 1985 where he began his career in food merchandising. After more than twenty years in that business, Chris refocused his professional career, deciding to join his mother, Rita, with Re/Max of Atlanta and forming The Carreno Group.

Chris is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Real Estate and joined Re/Max of Atlanta and The Carreno Group in 2006. He is a residential specialist, representing buyers and sellers from first-time buyers to down-sizing baby boomers and buyers interested in purchasing vacation homes.

In 2006, Rita and Chris joined forces to form The Carreno Group, bringing Rita’s marketing and public relations skills together with Chris’s merchandising skills and fresh ideas to achieve their professional Mission and Vision:

• To anticipate and meet the needs of our clients – before, during and after each real estate transaction
• To represent our clients with the highest level of dignity, honesty and integrity
• To improve and impact the lives of our clients who are buying or selling a home

Rita is a Life Member, Million Dollar Club and member, Northeast Metro Atlanta Board of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Re/Max 100% Club, National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, Georgia Hispanic Alliance and Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council. She has received the Silver Award, Communities Magazine Top 100 Realtors and the Gold Award, National Association of Home Builders. Rita is a member of the Board of Trustees and Administrative Board, Norcross First United Methodist Church.

Chris is a member of the Northeast Atlanta Metro Board of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Re/Max International, Deacon and Board of Trustees, Trinity Baptist Church.
